Azkoyen is once again committed to the dissemination of the coffee culture and the consumption of quality products. In this sense, the company will introduce their last technological advances for coffee machines in Colombia. Cafés de Colombia Expo 2018, which will take place in Bogotá (Colombia) from the 3rd to the 6th of October, is a trade fair specialized in the promotion of origin specialty coffees and the most important fair in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In Colombia, Azkoyen has an R&D center in the coffee region of Pereira, exclusively devoted to perfecting the coffee production. Within the framework of this event, Azkoyen will introduce important technological innovations in their coffee machines, which improve their performance in high humidity conditions typical of tropical regions, maintaining the state of the ingredients in perfect conditions and thus improving the final product quality and the machines profitability.
Also, for the first time in Latin America, Azkoyen will introduce their Vitro S5 Espresso model, a high capacity machine that complements the Vitro series and is ideal for the development of an extensive maximum quality hot beverage menu with a simple touch. In addition, this machine incorporates an energy saving technology.
At the fair, the company will help attendees learn how to appreciate the quality of a good product. Throughout the event, there will be demonstrations that will show attendees how to obtain the best coffee recipes.
In the words of Tim Antonissen, commercial director of the Vending Systens division, “the Azkoyen machines are being well received in the Latin American market, which shows the broad path and the great growth prospects that the company has in this continent”.
Internationalization is one of the top priorities of the Azkoyen Group. In 2014, the Group opened a factory in Pereira, in the heart of the Colombia’s coffee region. It is the group’s first plant outside of Europe and functions as the operations center for the whole American continent.
